At least he was cool. I found that there are two kinds of people that buy the hemi's.

1. the guys that think its a 426 from 1968 and think it will blow by GT500's if they want to.
2. the guys who like Dodge trucks and want a decent performance truck to drive.

Sounds like this guy was a #2. Thats good.

yup, I'm thinking it will make a HUGE difference in my times. I mean the HP is there but I cant get it to the ground efficiently. Espeically considering I was about 300+lbs heavier than when I usually race.

Linda, I totally agree! There were a bunch of truck guys out last night in diesels, Hemis and even a Lightning and Harley truck! The Harley truck was dialed in at 13.8 which was cool for loaded crew cab. Whne you gonna get some vids of your truck? I dont have any big block trucks in my vid collection

That mph is high for your time, the 1/8 looks in line. I bet your making good hp higher in the range, if you could leave the line at 2800 I bet you could drop .4 et off the 1/4.
Also part of that could be the NA cam if your still using it, its probably bleeding off boost at low rpms hence the 1/8th time and the high mph in the 1/4

Nice, I am glad to hear about your truck running again. I only copied your old setup with a different trans, cam, and less weight. You da man! My hat is off to ya.

Thanks guys

After really going over the siuation I am kinda happy with my results if my truck weighs as much as I think it does right now (5500lbs vs 5250lbs). I tend to forget I have the 4L80E now too.

I ordered the NW 90mm TB and a new PI converter that will hopefull stall at 3000rpm at 500rwhp which is what I should have after the mods. If not I can always take off the 3.70 pulley for 1 step smaller.

The cam could also be a tad off so if I dont reach the #s I will see about swapping it out but the cam grinder said it should be fine since its on a 116 LSA and very low overlap.

Turbo8, I dont see it as copying. You did enough stuff different to make it your own and even copying doesnt guarantee results so you deserve your own props.
