Skinny, what does your truck run? I saw a lifted 4x4 Cummins with 36 inch tires @ 7345 race weight run a 12.47..... 
at HRP last weekend, DA was +1700 or so... He does have a few mods and puts out the smoke but only when he spools it up... when he is just puttin you would never tell...
I usually give the smoker guys a bunch of crap but I would have to pill up way hi to keep up with this guy...

Im not real sure what it runs. There is no 1/4 mile track within an hour of here. There is an 1/8 mile track about 15 minutes from here, but I heard it shut down. I think he is going to have to have lots of propane and or N20 to beat me with a boat hooked to the back.

That is a pity, you need to get some times on that beast..... I myself would not believe the smokers would run that fast... but anyone that runs his mouth about beating you pulling a boat I would wager is full of chit.... and not to bother to find out about your mods.... I would put my money on you.

Ill tell you right now... I recently found out how fast one was..... the cummins may rattle like its falling apart.... but they can run like a bat out of hell.... I posted in here about a race i just hasd very recently, and lemme tell you... that was the loudest turbo i hav ever heard.... and it was lifted and had like 37s on it, and it ran like a bat outta hell.... all i saw was smoke and this truck was runnin...

This guy sounds a little arrogant. Not sure what a VHO is, But I have run an SS with intake, exhaust, and tune in my diesel and I had him by 2 trucks in the 1/8th. Granted, I was not pulling a boat
It should be a good race either way. Keep it fun and most of all keep it safe.

vho is about the same as an ss minus the AWD part, same motor and trans, 3.73 instead of 4.10, he is also super charged, that puts him close to 400 rwhp and 425 rwtq, enough to crack this dtc ***, there are a few diesels that run strong as well as gas, its going to be a drivers race between the two of ya if he don't pull boat and uses the chip thingy lol.

Don't be stupid by racing him while he is towing anything! That is a huge danger, He obviously is a complete moron if he wants to run a 1/2 mile, he will be doing 125+mph with a boat on the back! I wouldn't race him unless he was 100 feet away from me, then if something happens and he flips. Trailer tires are rated at like 80mph, no way it will handle 125+ with a load!
Beat him straight up, that way there are no excuses. The cummins is a big straight 6 with a turbo, it shouldn't be much for you with your mods!

IF this thing happens, it wont be for more than a 1/4 mile. Also IF it happens, im probably going to run him with the boat to get his $100 first, then I'll try to get him to run for double or nothing without the boat and with the chip. Then if I don't win, all I have lost is the race. I think my main problem is going to be traction. I need to also find some smaller wheels. Anybody know if 16's will fit? If he is smart enough to run it in 4wd he will probably holeshot me.
