Default Head swap track results, well kinda....

1.9 60ft 8.54 @ 81mph

Well i made it out to the track today, conditions were not the best, the DA was like 2400 and humid and 72-75* out... I did get a new personal best thou, nut not by much and some interesting findings....

My tune was way off, launching my AFR was 11.8 and finally leaned out to normal (12.6-7) around 4800... So i was bogging off the line pretty bad, but i still cut my best 60ft.... I found out my verter flashes to 3600, so that was at least one good thing... I tried launching a couple of different ways, the best i found was brake stalling up to 2900-3000 and flashing it... That yeild the best time, some wheel hop thou...

My previous personal best was at like 30* and 500ish DA and it was on my previous cam... A couple of weeks ago the fastest i got with my current cam was 8.6 and the DA was a hell of alot better...

I tried leaning it out, but i had alot of issues... I did try several different tunes with different timing... I finally ran a best at 24-25*, but still running really rich....

So i know i have some/alot of tuning to do...

here is a screen shot of the log, if you look at the MPH line it is kinda flat until around 4200rpm, that is just one more indication that the cam is wrong or toooo big...

YOU will still have to get your ve in line....... I can do mine in like an hour now. I think the stock OS screws with it somehow, cause when I went COS 3 it got a lot better and easier. Ive even had a few people comment on how well me VE is in line.

Seems to me, with pushin your converter back more rpm on the brake, quite a bit of power is there, just isnt in the perfect raw yet

Yep i know the VE is out of line, cause that is what is causing the richness off the line, the TQ is there but the VE being off is driving the MAF to be off... But I can't tune that area at all cause all i do is spin the freaking tires and it is pointless.... Freaking frustrating....

BTW before the heads, my verter flashed to 3000, after it flashes to 3600...

O wow I thought it falsed 3500sih before. Seems to me a lot of new power then. Kinda puts it into perspective how touchy building converter can be.
