Headed back to the track with some changes...
I got the truck in some sort of order and thought I'd take it down to the track tomorrow night (3-29) and see what it can pull off.
Couple months ago, I ran three 12.9s @ 104-106 in a row. The setup consisted of the following:
RC 5.3L A4
Headers, Full exhaust, 100 dry jet thru MAF, CAI, ET streets
The best 60' was a 1.8 but, the MAF was froze over by this time and still maintained a 12.9. Check out how confused my motor was... Even if you have no idea how to view one of these, just look at the lines. LOL
The MAF was going, "ALL-MOTOR, NO! NITROUS, ALLMOTORNITROUS"
If you've ever read up on dry shots... The added load knocks the timing into different cells where you can run dual timing curves on one tune... Pretty awesome unless the MAF is fucked up.
Well, I've found away to get around freezing a MAF and still use a dry shot.
I mounted an IAT sensor in my heat shield. Now, I don't need the MAF and even get cold IAT readings while at it.
I'm going to try out this method before I reattach the CAI and get the 'Noids mounted again.
Added a couple other things.
*Fuddle 2800TC
*Rock-On Tranny
*Dual Cut-outs
Last time, I was seeing 120 Injector Duty Cycle on the 100 shot. About 380rwhp I'd guess??? I'm hoping for mid 12s but, it all depends.
