Default Help with my setup - Need to be able to sixty...

Here's my current setup:
1969 C-10 Longbed
4200 lb race weight
Stock 5.3 with S471 turbo with a 1.58 a/r on the exhaust side (huge, i know...came off of a diesel semi)
E85, water injection
4L80E, 13" 2500 stall Hughes converter
12 bolt with 3.73 gear and posi
275-50-15 M/T Drag Radials

Went to the track this weekend and clicked off a 13.108 @ 111.90 mph.
60' was terrible....2.279 sec.

Was footbraking, trying to build a little boost, but couldn't...kept driving thru the brakes.

Was dead hooking off the line, but was weak until about 100' off the line, then the turbo lights and she pulls light a freight train, and flys thru the traps.

I think that I need more converter, or a smaller exhaust housing...or both.

What would be a good converter for me? I tend to cruise this truck a lot, and trips to the track are infrequent...but I want it to perform on the street as well.

Thinking a 3600 lockup converter might be the ticket....thoughts?

I'd say up the stall to about a 3000. It's not going to take much of a difference in rpm to build the boost. You'll find that just a small bump in rpm will get it boosting and from there it'll just keep climbing. You just need enough stall to get that initial spool. Too much will lose you efficiency once it does spool.
