The FTI 3000 are dirt cheap on jegs... I wouldnt go any smaller than that or you will wish you hadn't.

yeaa good idea...how does the FTI stalls compare to others such as circle D or yank?

took the tahoe to the track last night...retuned for the cam and swaped to my stock 17s...did a best run of 17.1! honestly couldnt be happier as i realized how bad elevation is affected here...stock 5.3 rcsb nbs where running 17.7s and some tuned 5.3 where doing high 16s...overall i beat a 3 nbs 5.3 stock and 2 4.8 tuned RCSB and a couple obs...alot of ppl where impressed and diddnt expect the tahoe to win!

I have an FTI 3200 in my truck and I love it. They build a nice product. As good or better then circ d or yank.

man thanks for this feedback..im about to order that stall and just wanted to get a couple other peoples opinion on it..by any chance did you ever ran the track before and after the stall?

Sorry I didn't see this. The 278mm converters are all restalled factory pieces. There is really only so much you can do with them to make them better. To that end I trust FTI is as good as the others. Especially for the money!!

I'm at 5500 feet in Utah with a 2000 scab 5.3 and the weight is 5100lbs. diablosport , cai, no muffler , efans and 4.56 gears. I ran the 1/4 mile in 16.300 and dynoed at 263hp and 304tq. On 30in tires with 20in rims
