factory mount is still working for me

are you trying to relocate it or did you lose part of the factory holddown?

...I use the stock hold down. In tech, they ask me what the truck runs and I always say "14's last time out, but I did put on a different exhaust". the line is usually backed up with ricers so they just "o-lay" me by to pick apart the hack jobs behind me. That is why I like going to the small tracks.

ok, so I forgot I had this thread and just saw it again...lol

anyways.......so I ended up making one out of some flat stock steel. hooked it around the front of the tray, 90'd it at the top of the battery and went past the other side about 2 in., then the second peice bolted to the stock threaded hole and the bolted to the other piece. I painted it black and it was a real nice piece! I would have taken pics, but 5 days after I built it my truck was totalled....and I couldnt fit the camera in the twisted hunk of metal to take a pic......nor could I remove the piece. BUT, it did serve its pupose, the battery stayed in its tray, but about 12"-14" away from it original location.

I think the new truck has the factory setup, but I really liked the one I built so I may just make another one! My old truck di not have the factory hold down because the battery had been replaced once before and they didnt bother to put it back on.
