You could go about 108 mph at 6700 rpm with a set of 28 tall tires if you wanted to. But since your truck truck would trap around 94-96 mph on shorter tires(going off my personal experience), you should run through the traps around 58-6000 rpm. (this is assuming your converter slip isn't real high) Speaking of converter slip, what rpm are you spinning at the end of the quarter?

For quarter mile racing, your truck is actually WAY undergeared with 4.88's and 35" tires...

justin tbh man i couldnt tell ya ive never looked down at the tach as im going through the traps, i would think probably 5800-6k like you said if i had to guess its up there but not screaming at the top of its lungs

i also found out today my shift points are jacked so its making me wonder how much time im losing in that aspect. according to the guy that tuned my truck the 1-2 is set at 6100 and the 2-3 is at 6700. i asked him why and he said "i put the shift points right before it stops making power" clearly if thats the case first gear should have a higher point than the 2-3 with the motor having a lower load...starting to think i might need a new tuner for now the 3rd time

and if thats the case with me being undergeared i might go buy a set of 30" radials then for next summer even though the goal was 13s on the 35s. just sucks i cant leave out of the hole hard or with 4wd

A nice set of milled 243s are good for 30-40hp based on a little ricer math. I would guess 40hp would be good for 2 tenths on your setup. Your big issue is going to be aerodynamics on the big end. Honestly you are getting out of the hole well enough to hit 14.0. Any extra top end power you can get will be important to beat the air resistance.

i figured i was losing up top having the 78mm tb and a 3.5 vs 4" intake, hopefully with the traction aid and everything itll crack 13s and with the heads hopefully net me 13.7s or better. im really thinking about trying out a different brand converter as ive heard what im running isnt exactly the greatest
