Default How much should ET drop.

Truck ran 14.36 @ 102.6 on street tires, spinning all the way through 1st gear. Wondering how much faster it would be on Drag Radials, and with a 3000 stall. Current stall on tranny is factory.

on the factory tranny you can expect a good improvement with a 3k stall converter. But only until the inevitable happens. Stall +factory trans=

I've got a 3200 stall on my original 4l60e, no issues... just run an aux trans cooler inline with the radiator trans cooler

U will need 1000hp to tear up a built 400, but id also say low 13s, with a little more stall.. say 3400 u might get close to the 12s with that trap speed.

well it is possible to get in to the 12 cause that old 400th 1st gear with a stock stall = sh_ty first gear it all depends on what size torque multiplyer you have in the converter.a good set of tires could pick you up between 4 to 6 tenths then with the right verter you could get anther 5 to 8 tenths.

what was your 60' with the street tires and stock verter yea i know your were spinning but what was the best you were able to get.
