Default Improving launches....

Looking at this slomo of a couple of launches, is there anything I can do to improve my setup? Looks like the rear suspension unloaded once or twice during the launch. This is with the stock 5-link suspension, except for 3' lowering springs. 60' was something like 1.54

Just bolted in some Spohn LCAs and have their adjustable panhard bar to get the rear centered, if it clears the cover on the 9.5" diff.

Double adjustable shock with a much more firm extension setting. It launches hard, then comes back up way too fast. Im a firm believer in DA shocks. From my first pass to my last pass in my new build i have gone from 2.12 to 1.47 with shock adjustment being the ONLY change.

I believe the new lower control arms will help, but probably not eliminate the unloading.

What shocks are you running? It almost looks like the rear suspension bottomed out. Stiffer adjustable shocks (correct length important) may help, and modified bumps stops may help too. If it actually is bottoming out.

Just stock style Z71 replacement shocks on it now. I think the lowering bump stops are too short to even do anything. I was going to cut down the stockers and put them back in.

Getting adjustable shocks would be a good idea, I did that on my 09 and reduced my 60 quite a bit. Another thing I did was get a camera under there so you can see exactly what is going on, it really helped me get things adjusted.

Something tells me I will be needing custom shock mounts if I can find something that will work.

Was considering putting the GoPro under there.

I see enough from the vid. The suspension is coming up way too fast.
