Just waiting on the new driveshaft. Should be here by the end of the week. Then hoping the trans is OK.

Think these would work? Current shock ride height is 18.5". AFCO 3870BG

looks like a good option. also check out strange and viking to see if they have anything that could work. i'd just go with the cheapest of one of the D/A shocks.

3870s would give me 4.5" compression and 2.5" extension as it sits. There is only 3" clearance at the bumpstops. 3890s (9" stroke) would allow more extension, but would need to extend the lower mounts.

Seems that the whole suspension is working against me if it is squatting.

that's a leaf spring suspension. i'm not as familiar with your style of suspension, but it looks like it hooked great while squatting. the 60' time looked damn good too so i figured the squat is typical of your style suspension. the only thing i noticed that looked out of control was the extension. it popped right back up there and unloaded in the process. it wouldnt hurt to stiffen compression too if it is bottoming out.

oh and an ARB on your setup probably wouldnt hurt. looks like it leaned to the right pretty hard.

It did hook, but supposedly time squatting is time not moving forward. Seems that lowering the rear 3" angled the upper and lower control arms more downward, probably putting the Instant Center somewhere below ground level, a mile away from the Anti-Squat line.

Went with the 3890's which are not BGs (Big Dog) like the 3870's. These may need to be re-valved as I could not hook and the truck was bouncing like a yoyo. Last 2 passes were at 8/8 from full stiff, so I'm not sure there is enough adjustment left in them.
