Cure: Run it out in 2nd gear

#2 His truck is a pig and weighs a lot more than most of us who ran 96+mph N/A. His truck is likely 400+lbs heavier than mine was when I ran my 96.8mph. Not to mention I'm a slim bastard at 165lbs vs him at 240lbs. We also need to check the weight and diameter of his wheels aqnd see if rotating mass and/or a lose of final drive ratio is hurting him.

Cure: Weigh the truck so we know how much MPH he is losing due to weight. Then do weight reduction or just calulate the extra MPH in to make him feel better about a portly truck.

#3 His cam lost him some low end TQ which we are all aware of so.

Like Jason said, advancing the cam a couple degrees should bring him back in line with the stall. At the very worst he can choose a new cam but that would be a last resort. I ran very respectable times with the 226/.535/112 and the same exact stall so it can and has been done by others on the board.

I would do that and also flash the vertter more leave the line at around 1000 r 1200 and let it flash it will help on the 60' alot

yea im gonna have to agree with what F8L and Litreddevil said. You are putting your suspension in a bind when you stall it up that high. You can drop your et a few tenths by just pulling the rpms up to 1000. It almost gives a tranny brake effect without the brake. (not as effective i know. ) How was your fuel level when you ran and what was the DA at the time you ran?

I am gonna have to agree with what Cody said. I think that cam is too big and when you leave your low end torque at the table, your times are gonna suffer. If it were me, id put a whole different cam in there. JMO

that is a big cam for a x-cab but he can also put a adjustable timeing chain and add 4* of timing on the cam

Fuel was just below 1/4 mark. Dont know what the DA was, baro was at 29+ and temp was low 60's.
I did flash the stall on the second run and shaved .1+ from just under 1000 rpm.
Before i change cams I will advance a few degs and try again, this time holding second.
Do you think delaying shifting from 4wd into 2wd cost me any time/mph?

PIG! :p

Still keeps you in the ballpark though. The HP calc doesnt take into consideration coefficient drag, aerodynamics or 4wd
