its always best to experiment, i would think that the heat would take away less than the amount of different stalling high the flooring it would gain over stalling low and floooring it

I have tried to stall all there is in a converter. For example in my friend's 4-door(La Charcoal). If I would stall all the verter stall speed, it would launch with a little bug. The best times were stalling like 300 rpms less than the verter's flash point. It feels that it doesen't take that much time to flash. It would quickly jump forward.
Hey Quik, what converter do you have? I've heard that the TCI's work very good from down low flashing.

And trust me, if you try to leave even on the third yellow, you'll still get a red light. Here the third yellow doesen't quickly goes to green. All the lights move down in the same pattern.

Last Friday I made 1 pass to get my base time. I stalled it to about 2000RPM and got a .005 reaction and 1.83 60'. Next time I run it I am going to try it at 24-2500RPM. From what several guys around here say (chochita, danny) it has worked better.
