Specifically why I bought a 4wd...1.75 60' on 20" street tires although it is heavier than my 2wd by almost 500lbs...always a trade off somewhere.

thanks for all the help fellers. I will need new tires soon anyway. Just looked, 245/70/17. What's the widest tire I can put on the stock rim?
I'd like to stay as close to the stock hight as possible.

I just want to know what your mph was in the 1/4??

285 is about as good as it gets, have seen some 305 on 7" rims but damn.

i have my daughter this weekend, so no track times till next week. I would really like to know as well. I'm tired of letting off at 80.

You might look into the 275/50R17 drag radials that M&H make. They fit the rim you are running very well and are somewhat close to the stock tire size you currently run. You could run them as a daily tire.
