Default Lean & Clean for track tomorrow...shes ready!

Well, I decided to drop a little weight since this truck was nearly 4670 last time out. I removed the hidden hitch, tail gate, sub box, and leather passenger seat and installed the 15" slicks on rear. Shaved about 190 off in 25 minutes lol. Also took the rags and wax to her, shinny trucks go faster right.

Lookin GOOD. Now keep your eyes out for some skinnier fronts. Even some stock steel wheels with narrow tires would be a big help at the track.

Looks DAMN good! Truck looks awesome but would look flawless with the right wheel and tire combo.

Just need to get some aluminum wheels for the slicks and something lighter/skinier for the front. While that is some money spent it would be well more then double if not tripple the performance gain from you weight savings you accomplished. All that said I understand money is tight and you may have financial priorities above a set of drag wheels and tires.

Thanks guys for the compliments and advice. I hope she hooks up today, I think leaving off the foot brake will be my biggest restriction.

I'll post up the results tonight!
