Not the fastest thing in the world but it does ok for a iron headed, NA big block.
Back in 2001 I put a ZZ502 crate engine in him with just a few modifications. Went 14.95 in the quarter. It took me till 2006 to get him into the 11’s. We are going to the Super Chevy Show this weekend in Indianapolis. I hope to see a high 10 run in the quarter. Well anyway, it is 502 CID 14.1 compression, custom ground nitrous cam & a very tough rotating assembly. Fully ported large oval port heads & intake manifold. The transmission was the weakest link. He has a Coan Engineering THM 400 with Trans-brake & Coan custom made converter. I spray around 350 from beginning to end. Runs the factory 3.73 gears with lockers. Knock on wood; I have never had a problem with the front & rear axles or the transfer case. And yes, I just love eating up the cars with him “Big Red”.

Nice detail! Thought it sounded like you had compression in there. I love the way a compression motor sounds. You would never expect what is lurking under the hood of that thing. I like it! I'd love to see the look on peoples faces when you pull up. I've got a F2 procharger that would fit on there nicely.

285 all terrains with stock keys cranked, full weight(even hitch mounted tow hook lol!). Launched in 2wd with little spin. That head wind really killed me.

2.19 60'
9.554 @74.13 1/8
15.04 @88.14 1/4

Hoping for mid 14's with a few tweaks and a lot of weight reduction. And, of course, no wind!
