Default Looking for advice to improve my 60ft times

Hey guys, I'm planning to go to TnT on Friday night and I'm looking to improve my 60ft times. My truck is a 2010 Sierra Denali CCSB AWD. I have a Whipple kit with Kooks 1-7/8" LT's, Volant CAI, and a QTP E/cutout that I only use for the track. Everything else is stock with 3.48 rear (I think?).
My best 60ft time (last fall with just the supercharger kit) was 1.92. I have since been out one other time and I still hover between high 1.9 and around 2.1 seconds. I have tried a few different techniques but haven't had much luck improving those times. They have varied from just launching off idle to launches at about 1,900rpm. I have been hesitant to go much higher because i tried going to 2,500 rpm and Had quite a bit of spinning. I'm not sure that I will be able get better with this truck unless I go for a new converter and/or gears. I have been knocking on 12's for a good while now and I know that if I can get a 1.8 60ft that I will be there (without DA conversion).
I'm not looking to make major weight reductions or anything else to get 12's. I'm pretty proud that I run my truck exactly as its run on the street.
Anyone have any suggestions for me? Did I give up higher RPM launches too early? Is it better to have some spinning with a higher RPM launch than with a lower RPM launch and no slip? Im an old manual transmission guy. I don't have much knowledge on flashing converters and what stall speeds work best.

A torque converter and gears will be your best improvement. I cut 1.7-1.8 with 4.56 gears and a 3700rpm converter. And thats on the 32.7" tire.

You'll need a good torque converter, and some 26" DR's or slicks. Then let it eat!

Some have already said it you desperately need a converter. You will run solid 12 possibly low if the charger likes it enough. Obviously the other part of the equation is getting it to hook. Like I said 12s are in the bag if you get a converter but then you will need a tire to hook. You can find a street tire that you can drive every day that should hook with a full weight truck.

I'm running stock Denali 20's with the standard Goodyear LS2 tires. Is it safe to run DR's on an AWD?

+1 as long as they are all the same size you are good to go. AKlowrider just picked up some DR's and is launching in 4x4 with some great results.

Cool, I will look into DR's when I get a new converter which will likely be this fall. In the mean time, I guess I'll just keep working on finding a good RPM to launch. It's supposed to be in the high 90's tomorrow so I'm all but certain to be stuck in the 13's but I will still go to see if I can improve my 60ft's.

I know it's not the right section, but do you guys have a stall recommendation for a good street/strip converter? This is my DD and I want to keep it street/highway friendly. Obviously this is with the 6 speed.

I just bought a Circle D 3400 for my truck. Once it's all back together I can give you some input on that. Prochargers require a little different converter though cause of how they like to build boost.
