Lost some weight and went to the track
Went to the track last friday night. I took my 20's off and put these stockers on. A weight loss of 200lbs. Truck with me, 1/4 tank of gas and 20's no gate, or bumper or rollpan, weighed 4720...same thing with stockers weighed 4505. I put some used (still good rubber) 285/60/16 goodyear eagle gtII's on the back. I rolled through the water box spun the tires to clean them off pulled out of the box and then did a good burnout. It hooked pretty good just a skerch skerch skerch off the line. I didn't figure it would hurt my 60' like it did though. As a matter of fact my 60's were the same with the 20's. It sure pulls hard once i get goin though. Here is my best three slips out of 8. The others i either roasted them off the line or got sideways going into second. It was kinda a trial evening for me. I was looking for some 2.2 60's. Is that too much to ask for? This is no juice by the way

If i even chirp second it blows the run for me. Lower your tire pressure. Practice. and practice some more You'll get there. Congrats on the new best!
btw, I ran a 13.5@75mph on Friday

The MPH is so high and 60's and ET are low all because of traction. You need to drop psi in the tires and not launch at such a high RPM. With your set-up you're probably best just slightly preloading the suspension at stage and then punching it vice brake stalling to whatever you are.
A better wheel + tire combo is really where it's at though.
