Also my 91 454 on the spray with the M&H dr and cal tracs with a set of cheap compitision engineering drag shocks got me a 1.49 60' you should look into it.

I can't speak for the track but the tires do not suck. I really don't know why people often talk bad about MT ET Streets. They have been around for a long time and for good reason. Certainly not because they don't work.

Here are my tires(28x11.50-16ET Streets) on my friends Mustang. I hate the car and like all mustangs it isn't allt that impresive. Supercharged 306 with a tremmic(sp?). Milan isn't known for amazing prep but it still pulled one a ways and possibly got a bit of daylight under the right. I would say a DOT slick dead hooking and pulling tire accounts for a tire that works well.

 

i see don tuned your truck mine is down there right now getting tuned last time it put 390RWHP with stock 78mm truck intake hoping for 420-430 with the FAST LSXRT.

if you dont mind me asking whats your setup it runs damn good im dieing to get mine up the track and see what it will do.

 

yea don deff knows his ls engines i moved to jersey notlong ago but im goin turbo soon so it will be back at dons for more tuning right now mods are in sig

putting a turbo on it nice hopefully once im tired of the heads cam 6.0 im running im either doing a procharger or turbo myself.

yea my intentions were to turbo it eventually but been hangin out with 03rcsb and he got me ready to do the turbosooner than later !!!

Nick was down my way a few weeks ago took him for a ride in my truck first thing he said was man I miss driving my black truck lol.

I was one of the few people that got to go for a ride in that thing that's what hooked me on RCSB 1500 about a week or two after I bought the truck I've got now and it's been a never ending money pit since.

 

The tires suck and we are talking about 4-5000lb trucks not a 3k lb car.
These are some of my reasons for saying they suck,they don't hook on the street for ****,they handle like crap if you drop down the pressure to where they bite,they always end up leaking air,they don't last,they feel like you are going to crash your truck at 14psi or less when you run low 12s or faster.
I've ran every tire combo out there and raced trucks for over 35 years and IMO they suck
