M/T 27x10.5x16 or 28x11.5x16?????
Fixing to order me some tires tomorrow. I am currently running the MT's 26x11.5x16 but am not hooking very good. I've got a best of 1.75 60' with these tires. Now I am debating between the 27'sx10.5 and the 28'sx11.5.....
I am running 4.10's. I am thinking the 28's would affect my 60' and "may" improve the top end. Has anyone used the 27's??? Would they hook better or be an improvement over my current 26's???
Both the 27's and the 28's call for an 8" rim. I'm running the 26's on stock rims.

I had 27x10.5x16 Et streets on my old truck it they worked OK on motor, but on nitrous I had the spray out of the 60', spraying out of the hole would blow them away. If I was to do a truck again id go 28s.

Don't plan on spraying until I go with a bigger engine and that may be by the end of this year or whenever the 5.3 goes out. So, this tires will be for all motor runs. I am leaning towards the 27's.....so will they give me more bite and be better than the 26x11.5's being that the 27's are 10x5's??? These tires are going on either stock wheels or 8" centerlines.

I don't have the 26's anymore. The guy I sold them to took them yesterday with the rims, he's supposed to give me 2 original wheels that he's got. That's why I ordered the 27's cause I want something for Friday.
