Default My truck sucks.

I ran 16.2 at 87mph with a 5.3 with intake, headers, and Nelson tune. Now I have a cammed 6.0 with intake, headers, Nelson tune, and posi with gears....and I ran a 16.2 @93mph today. I ran a 14.4@96mph a few months ago with the same setup and some ET Streets(and trans not shifting). I've seen similar trucks running in the 13's or lower(on 20's or not). This is why I gave up on this truck months ago and gave it to my wife to use as the "grocery getter". I have a 86 RCSB that I may put my efforts into from now on. What do ya'll think?

Tires make alot of difference. I run mid 15's spinning on my 20's and low 13's on slicks.

Ned more info. With slicks and no spinning a correct cammed/stalled 6.0 should be easy in the 12's. rcsb that is. ecsb in the 13's. With ease!!

Sounds like the tune to me...93mph with your setup= bad 60ft or not...unless you're spinning past the 330ft mark.

wow, no offense, ur truck does suck j/k man....well u gotta look at other factors too...how r ur spark plugs? wiring? fuel filter? all those things can really mess ur ur truck...how big are the tires or slicks you're using? Nelson is a really good tuner, i'm sure ur tune isnt the problem. or have u added any other mods since ur last tune? ur air/fuel ratio could be really screwed up.

a 14.4 to a 16.2 is a big difference with the same setup. You ran a 14.4 with this same exact setup when you ran the 16.2?
