Gettin better with Shawn's HD. Still has the stock torque converter, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold and stock airbox.

The truck intake is a MAJOR restriction with the cam and heads(233/239,595/603,113, MTI stage 2e heads). We knew it would be from the start. The heads and cam combo was never intended for this truck but rather it went in cause its what we had layin around at the shop. It was supposed to go in my S-10. Oh well, we are having fun with it now. It just needs headers, single plane intake, and a stall converter. BTW he towed a Camaro to the track before the 14.88 run. Then hooked the trailer back up and towed it home lol. It has MPH we would liek to get it past the 100mph mark and get a sub 2.0 60ft out of it, best thus far is a high 2.3x.

It pulled rather well considering the cam. I had to do some programming changes in the tow haul mode to bring the shift points up some, he just kept it at 90 on the freeway, this kept it at 3000+rpm, and she pulled beutiful right there. If we goofed around on the freeway I was in my 2.2l S-10 and I could not keep up anywhere, not getting on the highway or anything. So I guess it pulls good enough when on the throttle. I am sure it only got about 9-10mpg on the trip pulling.

That truck is movin for it's size. The thing sounds mean and rides like a caddie at 100+ mph. You can have it all in a chevrolet!

Ahhhh, a fellow HD man. I was starting to feel all alone in the forest. These suckers are big and heavy, but sure are fun! Hoping to see some 13's when I get the I/C finished up.
