Anyone else notice that once we started talking about a track meet, it got real quiet in this thread. There was new posts everyday with trash talking going on and now that we are trying to all get together, everybody disappears. I will not be organizing this again as last time I had it all setup and everyone backed out. I will go if someone sets it up, but it looks like not many are interested.

We kind of need a national PT.net event. We've done it over at SSS.com and it gets a great turnout. I know I'd show up if it was within 12 hours driving distance.

if it gets set far enuff in advance for people to get time off (if need be) to make the trip I think it would be a great turn out for a great event. I'm in as long as it is within 7-8 hours away.
The last event similar to this we set up we did it last minute, it was over a holiday weekend and we didn't have anytime at all to hype it up and we still had a decent turn out and a GREAT TIME. Notchlx worked out a killer deal with the track where we had it for the entire day for what it would cost for t&t. If TX wasn't so far away from SC/GA we could try for Carolina Dragway, BUT it isn't sooooo.

If it's at HRP or Sealy count me in, if not I'm out. I'm a broke college kid, I don't have the leisure of a trailer or even the gas money to travel out of state unless I can some how tow my truck with my bicycle.

Might be a lil farther than most of you are willing to drive, but there's already a Sport Truck shootout held every year in Kentucky. It's July 27th this year. I won't be able to make it because I will be on a business trip, but I figured I'd let you guys know about it:

just reading over this thread and looking at the timeslips along the way, and i dont understand how a truck could gain almost 30 mph and in some cases run 2 tenths faster then very next run, run 2 tenths slower. Also with all the mods that PH truck has in a 5.7 rcsb silvy that would be like a 12.2x - 12.3x truck

Lol dude you're a little late on the response. Also, if you read more than probably the first page you would see that your exact post has been posted about 127893652987362897369 times.
