Man thats a great idea!

Here I am in AZ and your all the way up in PA. Plus your truck would kick my trucks *** unless I run nitrous.

Theres a super fast Hemi in OK, LA, VA and MN. I'm sure they wouldn't mind helping you out with that tail between your legs request LOL

We chose to buy the trucks with less cubes and its STILL faster then your stroked H/C specimen you all speak of.

Im beating my head up against the wall here, Im done, these threads are the same song and dance. I dont think Ill be impressed with what the Hemi has to offer until there is a good tuning solution and even then I still believe the GenIII/IV motors will be ahead, but whatever, the fabled Hemi cant be beat. Have fun with your trucks, get back to me when a street driven Hemi gets in to the 10s.

If I ever quit working 70+ hour weeks Ill have my **** back up and running and would be more then willing to run any Hemi in/near TX and my truck is an extended cab Z71 on 35s, but the only excuses Ill be hearing are from the Hemi owner
Is it cam only or heads only? I have heard both. Now I think it is cam and heads. The point is that the "hemi" is making more power in 5.7/6.1 trim than the 5.3/6.0. Take a 6.0 and put heads and cam in it. We have a 6.1 stock block with heads/cam/ported intake that has dynoed 460rwhp. I do not know of any 6.0 making that kind of power with those three mods alone.

you need to search some more bud, a Trex'd 6.0 makes around that with just a cam thats without heads or intake

To be more specific, how much does a stock 6.0 dyno at the rear wheels. I am referring to the vortec maxx engine. You can get a 6.1 hemi in any compression as well, but stock has 10.3:1

You know, thats not a bad idea. I'll have the engine for our 100,000 plus mile shop truck back together in a couple of weeks. Give us another couple to iron it out and tune, were in the Austin area. I'm sure Brad will make a trip down for a good race too maybe a few others. What do ya think maybe Enis? Or if you want to stay more local Little river?
