New 1/8 mile times
Well I ended up going to a 1/8 mile track instead of a 1/4 mile track because all of my friends were at the 1/8 mile track. Anyways I am very pleased with my times, my only problem is I am hitting the rev limiter right before each shift. I have my rev limiter set at 6500rpm and my truck shift @ 6000rpm with the tow/haul mode on so the only thing I can think is that my 28" tall slicks & 4.10 gears have something to do with that and yes I did change the tune for the smaller tires before I raced. I never hit my rev limiter with my 30" street tires on so I think I desperatly need to figure out a way to make a 15" wheel work so I can use 30" tall slicks. I am thinking about changing my rear disc brakes to drum brakes. Below are the Time Slips from my 2 best runs of the night.

Oh yeah, There were 3 Dodge Hemi Trucks at the track last night and I think I scared them off because as soon as I came back around from the 7.82 1/8 mile pass the were gone? I was hoping to lay the smack down on those Hemi Trucks last night. Oh well.
