i would have to agree on no more than a 250, dbrods has been running a 250 shot for a few months now on a direct port, going through a plate might be a different story.. i do plan to test my setup to the fullest but only on a direct port system i do know mine will with hold 7500 rpms without issues, its been there alot of times lol

i wouldnt go 4 link if i had to redo it i would go ladder bars dont get me wrong i like my 4 link glad i got it, BUT i think for the price ladder bars would have worked just as good if not better

Did u upgrade your rod bolts. The way i see it is the weak poing will be the pistons and rings followed by rod bolt. But if u can do everything possible to decrease detonation the better. Look at FI guys pushing crazy power on conservative tunes, race fuel, meth. The good thing is that these motors are really cheap at junk yards so it's fun to experiment with.
