New best 1/8 mile after bump stop mod
I was changing out a wheel stud yesterday and my buddy 00Z71 noticed that my bumpstomp was preventing the truck from squating. He cut it off and I decided to reinstall the caltracs and give them another chance. My previous best 60 ft was 1.96 running caltracs and hoosiers on 8'' rim. After the bumpstop removal the truck managed a 1.74 60ft. My 1/8 mile also dropped from a 7.95 to a 7.56 @ 91.4 mph with 2600 DA. we're trying to get down to SAR so our trucks can finally run an 11 sec 1/4. We also logged the runs and I am shifting at 5900 in 1st so after a retune it should get a little better.

wow, thats pretty impressive...... it surely has a 11sec run for sure! how much are you spraying? any n/a runs? a friend of mine just installed some caltracs on his and he went from no traction to getting all the traction he needs!! if I still cant hook when I go the next time, then I know what my next mod will be for sure...
