I was expecting more, but I think that once you get it dialed in you'll be in the 12's with no more than the parts you already have on it. That is one beautifull engine with a very nice blower on top. With what I've found from that engine and knowing what I do about the TVS1900 (what I've learned from Brian and Joe) I'd think your shift points should be closer to 6300 or so. How much timing are you throwing at it? Those heads tend to work better with more timing the the previous cathedral port heads. What injectors are you running and what is your IDC?
I was running the 3.4" pulley all the time and now that I have the 2.8" on full time I noticed some pinging in the midrange that wasn't showing up on my scans. I went back in and changed some of the knock settings and it is now showing up. There was up to 7 degrees of knock part throttle and 3 at WOT. I've dialed the timing tables in some more with less timing in the bad areas and the truck feels even stronger. There is a total of 14 degrees of timing through most of the rpm range at WOT. Anymore and it seems to knock(audible, loud). The AFR is around 11.5 but, rises to 12.2(warm day) by the shift. If I can keep it a little richer maybe it'll take a degree or two more timing, we'll see. It's either outta injector or outta pump(most likely). I haven't verified which yet.
The injectors that came with the kit are something like 51.9 lbers at 3 bar IIRC. In EFILive there is no duty cycle calc for the E38 so I'll scan pulsewidth and post it.
I won't raise my shift points anymore without putting some springs on this sucker but, I agree that it would go faster with some more rpm. It still feels like it's pulling good when it shifts.
Don't forget it weighs very close to 6100 lbs. Hell, it still has the stock exhaust manifolds/exhaust on it.

I was guessing that you might be out of injector. Even at 6100lbs, I bet with the parts you have it's going to go 12's. That engine and trans are bad *** let alone with boost to it. I can understand the rpm and spring issue, the valves are a bit heavy and now boost isn't going to help them.
