Ran a 10.6 @ 131.99mph today. Track sucked but Don and I got the set up to work the best we could. Convertor needs to be tightened. It was flashing to over 4000 today

-Previous best was a 11.3 @ 120mph.
-The truck is a 01 Silverado with a 408, s85, ETP head, 4l80e (with a smoked convertor), 10 point cage, 9" rear end, M/T drag radials, 4 link rear.
-The truck felt slow....It is way too smooth. The track sucked and I havent ran it on the drag radials or with the new suspension before today.
-My dumb *** friend didnt tape the run. He got all the others but not this one.
-The run was at 12#s with a very, very bad slipping convertor.
-And I want's really that happy with the numbers today. If the trans wasnt 3 years old and slipping like a bastard, I would have made one more pass, leaving at 8#'s and I think I would have hit a high 9. with the right 60'
