Default New best with the 5.7 setup.

I was planning on running 10-12 psi at the track today. Decided to make 1st pass at 7.5 psi street tune for the hell of it. Here is a comparison of my old setup vs this setup. I was expecting a low 12 or possibly a high 11. Needless to say I was suprised at the outcome.

Old setup
370 ci
t67 at 12 psi
race weight 4400 lbs.
60' 1.65
1/8 7.25
mph 96.6
1/4 11.35
mph 118.62

New setup
347 ci
t76 at 7.5 psi
race weight 4600 lbs.
60' 1.64
1/8 7.25
mph 95.81
1/4 11.41
mph 116.93

I turned the boost up to 10 psi and was having trouble with traction off the line. After gaining traction the truck was having issues with misfires that we have not figured out yet. Truck is making some great power on low boost (street setup). Hopefully we will get the tuning figured out and see what it can really do.

Got the new trans/converter installed last weekend and two days later I blew the pump. I'm about to go outside and put the old one back in to get me around and probably heading to Savannah some time this week.
