went to the track
here is what i ran last week in 93 degree 100% humidity
60ft 2.173

1st run hooked off the line good
60ft 2.083

mph 76.94
2nd run spun some off the line but ran better time
60ft 2.057

3rd run spun pretty bad this run (didnt do good enough of burnout)

4th run hooked good thought this was going to be in 8.9's but it wasnt

5th run raced like a 95 mustang gt had drag radials and i know he had spray dont think he sprayed me when we ran.it was a sleeper fo sho he raced every mustang out there and was hitting the brakes the whole time to keep them close to him. he got me on the tree and he got a length on me immediatly and then i pulled him some in second and he hit the brakes before the line.

it was in the mid to high 70's.my second gear shift point is a lil low its at 5900 i think it should be at 6100 6200 my first is at 6300.

nice times, sounds like you should have a 13sec truck in the winter...
why the is 2nd gear at 5900? when i had my 5.3 i used to shift @ 6600 on both shifts... and your heads flow alot better so it should be some nice gains... i would think..

i think my first gear could be bumped up to 6400 to 6500 if i had some more timing real easy, but at those rpm im really running out of injector like 120% idc. i dont know why the 2nd gear shift is so low? i think that is why my mph is low because im shifting into third before the 1/8th and i think if second gear was held a lil longer the mph will be higher.

o yeah this was full street trim too. next time im going without the brushguard, backseat,spare tire,and lift. so it should run a pretty good bit faster.
