Default New best... Getting better

Went to the track today. It was in the high 80's today. Ran on the 22's. Radix on an LQ4 at 5.5 psi.

Best run of the day was;
60' - 2.12
1/8 - 8.633 @ 85.24
1/4 - 13.21 @ 107.27

I had a freak of a run and pulled off a 108.50 trap speed!! Had a horrible 60' though, 2.25.

As I keep saying, I want 12's on 22's. I think with new 60# injectors and a 2.8 pulley, 12's may be around the corner.

Man your MPH is insane bro!

Its killing me that you are doing it with so little. That is on a basically stock 6.0L with just the cam right?

Ohh, I ended up winning the class and got my trophy. I needed something to ease my pain of being slow

I have an lq4, gt2-3, tog headers, true duals with metallic cats, with a 3.1 pulley. Kind of curious to see what it will do with more boost (2.9 pulley) and slicks. 12.XX????

Congrats on the win and the trophy. I wish we would have went heads up, woulda been cool.

i'm glad that race didnt happen. Head up you would have KILLED me! Now racing your in bracket would have been fun.

I'm gonna pulley mine down a bit and see what it does. Im even contemplating dumping my heads (I htink they are causing me problems)and doing a new cam. I just cant afford a LQ4 swap so Im stuck with that I got.

Sorry, didnt mean heads up. Meant running against each other in the time brackets. Im an idiot sometimes. lol I might go next wed night, you down?

Have you thought about going with 6.0 heads, might not drop your compression too much since you have high compression pistions.

I have class on Wed nights.

Yes, I am thiinking hard about that. I am trying to line up a 3.40 and 2.25 pulley then head down to Ricks and see if my compression can handle it. If its too erratic then I may just dump my heads and slap on some 6.0L heads and pulley down. I have a feeling more boost is better than high compression down low because of our stupid trannys.

For Sac raceway its bad. The track is only about 50' above sea level. Climate changes can effect the amount of oxygen and raise the effective elevation, or lower it. So basically yesterday was a bad DA day. Often times durring the late fall or winter we will see -1000' DA days. Thats when you want to go racing!
