where are you shifting?is it dyno tuned are street tune?what is your timing at?
I am running a 28", i want to try a 26" slick but now one around me has some. I do all my own tuning usually on the street, but last time on the dyno the HP started dropping off around 66-6700 so I am shifting at 67-6800 1->2, and 68-6900 2->3. My starts out about 27* at 4000 and climbs to 29* at 6800.

what were the specs on the cam you ran in the 4.8?

Whats funny is all the cars that you can spank on the street with a little 4.8. Great runs for an sweet truck.

congrats Corey!
if you can get the 60' in the high 1.7's and cooler weather you'll be in the 12's.
i hear the cutout is open, have you ran it with it closed? just to compare the 60' and top end you know.

Damn man running good!! I love the way your truck sounds

I dont see why you can't hit 12's with a little cooler weather and a 1.7ish 60ft. That would be bed ***!

thanks man, i am hoping with a little bit more tuning i can squeeze 1/10th out of it and if I catch a break with the weather i might be able to get another 1/10th, but i dunno the weather was great on that run, the DA was like 600ish...

I have been thinking about another cam swap... Something like:
219/219 .60x/.60x 109
or
220/220 .581/.581 110

I've got 26's if you want to borrow them. they do not much life left in them but if you want next time my brother comes down from dallas. I'll put them in his trunk and you guys can meet somewhere. I don't plan on going any time soon if i do I can use his 28's.
