I think 13.80s for what you have is impressive. Heavy truck, stock gear, small OEM cam, unported heads...Your truck does good for you, and that's what matters.
Believe me, I went through plenty of ridicule...Perfect setups don't happen at all, and great setups don't happen overnight. Takes time and testing. You have done both and are pleased with the results.
Every customer has different needs/wants which require different setups. Builds are supposed to please you, not everyone else. Keep your head up and keep on truckin'!

It will run better with a few small mods..its not a race truck its a daily driver with some pep!

What was ur 1000 ft times grey? I went 8.93 1/8 at 76.xx early summer with my lil 4.8 cc 09 that is a heavier body. My 1000 ft (no local 1/4 track) was 11.7. That should have been about a 13.9-14.0 1/4. I dont know about txsilverados old setup, but mine was 4.8 w gears, stall, homemade Cai, and Lts with a tune. No underdrive and stock engine. I'm not trying to have a phasing match, just trying to provide an example of a bolt on truck hitting 13' s is not difficult.
