welp did'nt hit my 13.999 i was wanting, but its ok. Was hitting the revlimitter on the 1-2 shift, need to bring that up. D.a. was around 2600. This was full weight, 4400lbs of so w/ 1/3 tank of gas.
60ft... 2.091
1/8... 9.043 @ 78.51 mph
1000 ft.... 11.696 @ 88.32 mph
1/4 .... 14.109 @ 96.65
Made 2 other 14.1xx passes at 96.6x mph... so at least its consistant. Also had a best trap of 97.01. great night in all.

Nice times. Especialy out of a 5.3. Good luck on making the 13.99 mark.
This is a good time to point out for people considering modding a 5.3 vs. swaping in a 6.0 My best time NA is 14.2 truck has 239,000 and mods are 2800 stall, minor weight reduction(4400 lbs race weight), dumped exaust with stock cats, and a blackbear tune. 95% stock truck running the same time as your highly modded 5.3.

Well cam, headers, exaust, gears. I guess highly moddified might be a bit heavy but you have a good deal of money into that motor and quite a few moddifications. So highly modified might not be extreamly accurate but my point is lots of mods, VS. nearly stock. If you swapped a stock 6.0 into your truck you would be running the same time you are now with almost certanty.
Like I said not knocking what you are doing because it is working, and quite well. But making the point that, with less money you could be right where you are and have plenty of room to grow. At this point with you 5.3 the only ways to make much improvment are juice, FI, or swap into a bigger motor.

yeah it was a lot of fun, it was cool having so many trucks!
As far as money i have in it well let see
200 for a converter, 100 bucks for cam and springs, 420 for sum headers, 80 bucks for a servo and 100 bucks in tuning. add 100 for misc gaskets and fluids. So a grand in it. Everything else isnt really a proformance mod just stuff that adds to keeping the truck fun and working good.

Pretty decent time. Better weather/DA will net you more yet. Due to the low stall you need to get out with the DA closer to 0. With your mods 13's should be easily achievable already.
