just get bigger injectors and run it again or maybe get the spacer for it if that actually would help or not

That's awesome Roger! Nice work! Never thought I would see an MP112 cutting those times without some n2o help. Get some bigger injectors and head back out

Just wondering, how far can I push a stock in-tank fuel pump with the Maggie/Walbro boost pump? Can it possibly keep up if I add a wet kit?

Awesome times, you are well into the 11's and one of the faster 112's period. Congrats!

How much timing are you running up top? Meth or race gas?

Your pretty close to those 1.40 60's that you said was impossible....congrates! Those straps are gonna get you even closer! If you need injectors ill be home on wed and i can get you a killer deal!

On the N2O set up it doesnt matter if its wet or dry the fuel has to come from the same place. I wouldn spray it till you get the new injectors in and can see what your fuel pressure is. Id rather run out of fuel off the bottle than on it ya know. I also have a bunch of bref7's if you want to use them when you do spray?

just goes to show what a good 60' will do for you. my 11.58 was at 119mph on the ls1 125 shot setup (1.68 60'). your cracking almost identical times at 113mph. keep working that 60' down and figure out some up top MPH and go for tens!

But you can't run 10's with a 5.3 and a Maggie... It just can't be done.. No way in hell

Trucks running Awesome Roger, now that you're about maxing out what you have it's gonna get harder and harder to make headway, not to mention more expensive lol. I dont doubt some 11.20-30's are to be had with suspension and injectors and a spacer. This goes to show that carefully planning your mods instead of just buying what's shiny, pays off.

Thanks! I wonder what it would do in a RCSB? I wish I could do something along the lines of YOUR latest project, I'm jelly. I'm running a mix of 90 octane and 100 octane low-lead aviation fuel. IIRC, timing is around 18* or so, maybe 19* on that last run.

Maybe a lower 1.5x 60', but I doubt this pig will ever see a 1.4x. I think straps will help a bit, and some tire pressure adjustments too. Thanks for the congrats!

Thanks! BTW, how the hell do you get away without running a cage?

Running in 4x4 hurts my mph for sure, this thing just will not shift out.

Thanks Ben! And yeah, I really don't think it has much more in it. Unless I spray it.

Thanks Skeet, it sure does get tougher to find each tenth.

I think if I could get this thing to launch hard without tire spin, that I might get another half-tenth. I was watching the Go-Pro vids, and see that the outer 3/4" or so of the treads are not even touching the asphalt during the burnout or the run. I was running them at 32 psi, and I didn't take a compressor or a gauge with me. So now I'm thinking that straps on the front end, and maybe 25 psi in the tires might get me a better 60'? Only one way to find out, right?
