Very Nice!!! I would like to get out in this cold weather and see what I would run now. but I have tanny problems, won't shift from 1 to 2 at WOT untill it hits the rev limiter????

You need to get to hrp again, I bet u have 13.0 or better in it with this weather. I ran same times as u in sept. and went out a few weeks ago and hit a 12.8.

those are amazing if you dont have a cam... i almost couldnt beleive it when i seen this thread. I was searching for weight reduction this morning and found this somehow, lol.

i'm going to the track this morning.. DA should be amazing... hopefully i'll be catching up with 01thunder's record... right now im at 13.5@98... major mods are bolt ons, 3500 stall, 4.10 gears, tr224 cam, tuning.

but if you're running a tenth off me WITHOUT the cam.. that motor is a FREAK, lol. Just pisses me off that i STILL wont have the record even if i do bust a 13.1 or better today... but i guess that'll just motivate me even more to do other ****.

good luck, go get the record. i need some gears(4.10) and a t-56 before i think about low 13's. the old nv3500 is too slow to shift. i've always had the goal of 12's NA. i'll get there adventually.

This is my brothers truck, i think its a freak myself. It still needs a cam and some gears, he has stock 3:42 and should run 13.0 s or better

do you all have hptuners or just got the tune done by nelson?

we had an awesome day to run... temps were in the upper 50's, da was -200 something. Apparently it just wasnt my time i guess. Ran the same times, couldnt get it to 60 foot, was spinning all day long/wheel hoping. I'm now going to do an ls6 intake swap and see where that gets me... i understand that'll hurt my torque... but honestly like it matters in a 4.8 that i'll be launching at 3k rpms anyway.

We had the tune done by Nelson....I am still trying to decide which cam to go with, hopefully she has some low 13's when I'm done....probably do the cam and gears this summer and be ready for winter...
