Default new times

Well, went to state capital raceway for test and tune today. Very happy with the times, but not so happy with the wife. She cant video tape worth a damn, misses all the first few runs, and she looses some of my slips. I had them in the door, and she opens it right when the wind is blowing hard (wind was high at times)and a few of them go flying off. One of them was my best run too, and I needed it because no one here will believe what the little 4.8 ran. I do have one of the next fastest runs though, and that is pretty good too.
Mods: 4.8 with stock trans and 3.42s open diffs, K&N intake, Pacesetter headers with ory pipe, slp loudmouth dual exhaust, cutout, Wheatley dual tune with 93 octane in the tank(half tank of gas too), 16" wheels, no spare, no tailgate, no rear bumper(rollpan on), and no pass or rear seat. Went the fastest of the day a 14.4. I am sure I will hear bullshit and I cant back it up because of my documentation luck today, but I can claim my other time and do have a slip for it, may or may not have a video of it havent watched all of it yet. Still a great time, track went away quick though, alot of tire spinning after the first few runs. On the fastest run it got out the hole clean and ran hard, I almost **** myself when I saw the slip. The guys in the bleachers asked me where I fill my bottle, I told them no bottle only a 4.8L, they didnt believe it. Will scan slip later, I'm tired.
some wheel spin on this run:
60ft-2.25
1/8-9.42
mph-76.75
1/4-14.64
mph-92.62

Wanted to get new times before I put in the lower gears and locker. I was shooting for a 14.9 being that last time out it only ran a 15.1(which is still good with so little mods and a 4.8). The weight reduction made a huge difference. I said the truck felt like it was running strong lately.

congrats on the new best Elton!
that's strong for the lil 4.8
after you get your gears in you need to put in a converter and a lil cam so you can shoot for 13's.
