I lost .6 going from the 6.0 to the 408. I'm sure there are many variables. I lowered the compression. I didn't change the pulley, so I lost between 2 and 3lbs of boost, and my tune probably needs more work. Plus it was pretty hot today. Last year I was seeing 115 mph, today I saw 112 mph.
At least I didn't break anything LOL.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Mike

Compression is supposed to be between 9:1-9.5:1. Stock was at 10.1:1. I'm not sure where it ended up. The heads have the stock combustion chamber and I used stock thickness gaskets. The pistons are -20cc.
Embarrassing to say, I don't know how to answer that. I know where the timing tables are but, how do you put a number the that? Is it an average? I feel pretty dumb as I'm typing this LOL.
Of course, I was thinking about this all day yesterday. In addition to this I think I need a new in-tank fuel pump. I do run an in-line. <<<<just another addition to my brain storming.
