News Runs Tonight: 4.8Lw/PTE76GTS (vid's)
Well I had a pretty good night, didn't lose a race, didn't break anything and made the 2 1/2 hour drive home.
Truck has ran a best of 11.3 before with a 70mm@17-18ish psi. New items include slicks and a PTE 76GTS.
Made a couple runs to get a feel for things, ran 11.6@ 11psi. Then turned it up to 14psi and went 11.3. This tune also has about 2 degree's less timing then the old tune. Would have REALLY liked to got another run in with more boost and lower tire pressure, but missed last call.
Learning the truck though, tried a different launch each time and it seems around 3800-3900 with 7-8psi is the ticket. The slicks were at 18psi (meassured cold) tonight, so next time out i'll bring them down 4-5PSI and see what happens. They held good till the high stall run, cut a 1.71 on that pass going sideways.
Be back soon for more, trust me!
Ow, the track guys also took a picture. Great timing, it's my dads birthday next week!
