NHRA Amends Roll Bar/Cage Rules For ’08-Later Street Vehicles
I originally had a goal to get kicked off the local track for eventually running faster than 11.50 and not having a roll cage...oh well
At least if I ever get to that level I can still race

Un-altered should mean structualy. Full interior, no firewall changes, no tubs. The shell is stock should qualify as un-altered. Obviously like every rule it is up to the "inspecter" to deam what he sees fit.
This is awesom for people who have a newer car truck or SUV and don't want to ruin the interior and add all the weight of a cage.

i heard from someone who talked to a person at NHRA about this. they said un altered as in completely stock down to tires. what he said is they want the guys who have a zr1 say be able to run and not get booted. they are confident if someone can go faster then 11.5 in a car like that completely stock then they know how to drive. they are more worried of someone going 13's in a zr1 spinning all over the place. we will see how strict they are on the rules though.
