Nitto Drag Radial vs MT ET Streets?
I currently run a set of 325 50 15 Nitto 555 Drags radials. On the street when they are cold they have very little traction. Less traction than my regular street tires. At the track after I heat them up, they hook OK, but not great. A lot of guys at my local track use Mickey Thompson ET Streets. Anyone have good or bad experience with either tire?
Would I have better luck with maybe a skinnier tire (maybe a 295 55 15)?
I'm running my current Nittos at 13 psi.
I'm also not launching super hard with my current setup. I'm running the stock verter and can't foot brake it over 2,000 rpm. So I would expect to hook pretty easily.

Oddly enough, ET streets are not for the street. However, they are a far superior track tire. If you want to run on the street and track, look for mickey thompsen drag radials. They will not last like your nittos, but your 60 ft will be MUCH improved.
