hit the track saturday
ran a few times on the 20's just to see. truck was full weight, tool box loaded, carseat, diapers, baby clothes, etc. LOL just wanted to see exactly what i would run as compared to being on the street. ( 1/8th mile track)
best on the 20's and street tires was a 7.79 with a 1.82 60'. i was impressed! that was n/a at over 5100 lbs.
swapped the 20's out for my brothers loaner slicks. only got in 2 more runs. first was n/a spinning off the line (shitty burnout on my part) went a 7.69 with a 1.75 60'
last pass did a good burnout, slipped a little off the line, went a 7.36 with a 1.71 60'. this was on a 100 shot dry, spraying after the 60' . think i trapped about 91 mph on this one.
all in all i was proud of my setup. stock suspension, heavy as hell.
got a couple pics, wanted video but no luck
on a side note, i was trapping less mph then anyone around my times, thinking because of the baby slicks. 26"x10"x15" hoosiers.
{ the first pic was a launch pic. leaving at 3000 and letting it eat! } looks like good transfer of weight to me for stock setup with shackles.

Mobile Dragway is 600' long period.
The Reason the time slip reads as it does is because the software cannot be changed to reflect the actual length of the track.
The 60' and 330' are accurate, but the 594' time is actually measured at 534' and the "1/8 E.T." is measured at 600' instead of 660'.
The track used to be a true 1/8th, but they shortened it because there isn't enough shut down area for the faster cars.. You can see someone go off the end of the track most every weekend, and I've had a couple close calls myself, including throwing the car sideways at the last minute to avoid the sand......
And that's a fact

Still not bad for the weight though. 7.60s 1/8th or High 11's on juice.

i knew they shortened it, just didnt know how exactly the time slip was edited.. it has a 594 ft et, and then an 1/8th mile et. i thought the computer was adding those .3-.4 onto the 594ft time, just was never really certain what the hell was going on.
LOL now i know. i thought the mph always looked pretty low to me.
