OBS Tahoe vs. C5

OBS Tahoe vs. C5
I posted this over on Pacific Audio's forum, but I figure it might get a chuckle out of some PT.NET folks too, so here it is...
Do you guys remember the post about smoking the dispatcher in his wife's LS1 Trans Am? Remember how that prompted him to trade up the V6 Camaro he has for a C5? Here's that post if you didn't see it: http://www.pacificp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=10395
Anyway, Friday we decided to have a go at it again, this time Tahoe versus the Vette. (I've already beat him on the street, but whatever. This will be fun.)
We got a flag man and waited until the place was empty which worked out to be about a quarter after six on Friday. I've got cameras all over the place so this time I've got some photo-evidence!
We line up:
Launch! I got the holeshot by a tiny bit. I'm about two feet ahead in this photo - not much:
Boost....
Another angle of the last shot:
That's a car length in 150 feet!
We were both very traction-impared. There were four stripes across the entire thing. I know I spun into second, I'm sure he was much worse off. But hey, a win's a win!

It's a huge expanse of concrete at work - a commercial fueling facility. The straight-away is no longer than 250 feet before you have to break. I didn't get to third so it had to be less than 65mph. On a Friday evening the whole place is a ghost town and the only ones still around are employees of the various businesses on the property shooting the breeze waiting for the traffic to die down. Traction on this stuff sucks. We've run on the street, asphalt is much better. On the street I pull ahead strong through first gear. He starts catching up by about 60 and by 85-90 it's bumper to bumper. After that it's all VETTE...
