Default Old 5.7 still holding it down!

I don't see that many postings for the old 5.7 vortec so thought I would keep it alive by adding some times.

Mods are in my sig except I have added a 100hp dry shot. I sprayed only 2nd and 3rd gear and was in street trim.

60ft...2.1 / next mod is a stall
330ft..5.8
1/8....8.9@81mph
1/4....13.7@102mph

it dosen't seem like much but its enough to put the hemi's in their place (even on motor ) I don't even bother with the trucks, honestly there a waste of gas, just calling it how I see it.

Thanks. My next mod will be a stall but as for spraying in first, all I can say is I like my tranny to much. I think I can squeeze a 13.6 maybe 13.5 with my drag radials, but we'll see.

Next mod will be a stall. I would like to get down to about a 1.9 60' time hoping that will do it. I would like to drop the truck with a 4-6 drop but in do time....

great times man.
Be very careful with that 100 dry shot and those stock 19 LB poppet injectors.
I had a 97 and what I had and a 50 dry shot tht thing went very very lean as the injectors could not support anymore at all. That can be a problem,so I went to a wet shot.
Just giving you a heads up on that with that year model.

Bring it. You might want to spray a little more for this slow N/A hemi..
