Pitt 402 Launch pic 7 dyno
Here is a front pic of my Maiden Launch. First lauch with an Auto tranny at a track for me. Rolled out and pressed slowly to the floor
Time slip, Vehicle # 21, ran 11.49 @ 117 mph, 1.63 sixty foot. Scanner wouldn't pick up the white paper so I had to add a magazine back ground.

Dyno with a very mild street cam and porting\polishing job from Pete Incaudo,
(a good friend now).
Many thanks again to Pete Incaudo for an excellent set up. He recommened the block, piston compression and cam. Everything works together. The only problem is a good one. I ask him to design me something to run mid\upper 11 seconds so I didn't have to get a roll bar. Looks like very low 11's coming and a roll bar...lol.

Hey Lance. I am taking the weight from the net. It is just a guess. The regular cab Silverado for 2000 was listed as 3923 lbs and the sportside is 100lb lighter because of the composite fenders. I found the difference in bed weight some where but can't spot it now. Here is the reg truck specs for a reg 2000 Silversado. http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...ado-1500-3.htm
The minus 100 lbs puts me at 3823. I got rid of the rear bumper and the aluminum motor is another 80 lbs. That is real close to 3700 lbs. The suspension just seems to work with this light motor. Adding 12" slicks should really drop my sixty foot from the 1.633
