Default Pitt vs GTR

well guys, got my azz stomped by a GTR @ Gainesville Raceway last weekend. The vid may show up somewhere. He had a silver one with a door camera. Dude was from Colimbia and had a 3 foot pony tail and almost no-speaka-english. Actually a nice guy.

I was there to tune my tranny and it was my first run. I pulled him out of the hole and then my damn truck wouldn't shift to second. I let up a hair and she shifted, but he jumped me a length at least. Then he gained on me very slowly all the way. We had almost 20 mph head wind so my truck windshield was like a boat sail ! He ran an 11.2 and I ran only a 12.44. My best has been 11.17 & 11.18 so it would have made a great vid if my truck had performed.

Back this Sunday to try again. Tranny is almost set to go.

Hey Pit,

Why did you take a knife to a gun fight? I know you have more fire power at home.

Actually hope this Sunday is payday for a ten. Supposed to be in the 50's all day and dry air. I was told to try slamming it to the floor with hot Hoosier slicks at 13psi. Gonna see what happens because I just roll out of the hole now. Tranny is a 4L60. I'm only pumping out 465/450 tq so it should hold up.

Pete can be reached on his cell @ 813-469-4665, tell him Bob Pittman sent you. One hell of a nice guy.

I'm running a K - Concepts 4-link not really designed for drag racing but with the addition of QA1 shocks it works great. If I can get the slicks to hold, watch for a sixty foot in the 1.4's. I will need a good track prep.

Will PM you later tonight Bro. Just got in from the gym and starving. Then a couple shows with the wife and I will get back on.

Man, I don't know. I am just a lucky *** with my set up. I haven't even started adjusting the shocks yet. They are just set on max soft and I roll out and mash the peddal. Here is a vid of a roll out.
