If i get results that is great, i am sure i will gain something, but most importantly it cleans up the freaking ugly *** engine bay, which actually was my main objective when I started buying parts.... lol

i know i always come across as the nay-sayer on the ls6 intake but it seems like its a hit or miss modification. for every person that gains power, theres another that gains nothing or loses. if your just looking to clean up the bay i guess you golden either way

but remember i did go from a LS1 intake not a truck intake to a LS6 intake so that may be where the difference lies

Wait, to the OP, you had the truck intake or LS1 intake previously? If you went from the LS1 to LS6 intake, there really never was any question to the LS6 intake's superiority. The real question lies in whether or not the truck intake to LS6 intake swap is worthwhile.

Well black Gmc will find that out for us! from what ive heard ls1 flows similarly to the truck intake.
