question bout hoosier slicks.. uneven wear..
just wondering what is happening to my slicks, on both slicks they have uneven wear on the inside portion, looks all scruffy like someone grazed it with a cheese grader, and the outer portion is actually fine..
should i have them demounted and turn the slicks around so the inner most portion is now on the outside??
this is my first set of slicks
thier is probably less than 30 passes on them
thanks

bah, that sucks if that is true cause damn jegs reccomended these rims and said they would work perfect.. i bought everything from them last oct. think the rims are 16x8 and the slicks are 28x11.50x16
here is the link to the rims..

don't know if it matters or not but i'm also running a MT tubes in these as well
Before my 3400 stall went in i was easily able to get traction with 27psi in them on launching, now that i leave the line a lot harder this weekend i had to let 2-3 lbs out of each slick to even come close to getting traction , all the guys running slicks on cars say 20+ psi is way way too much for my slicks but if i put in like 15lbs like they say the slick is like 1-2" tall under the rim and totally looks flat, lol
i was always under the impression that you ran the max psi that you could and still have traction am i wrong?
