Stu, is Fulson4's truck up and running with that 392 stroker? What do you expect that truck to turn on the strip?

The tranny went out while I was tuning it. When the tranny went the AF was around 12.0 durring a run so I still need to lean it out some. As it sits it feels roughly about how Brads truck did when he picked it up. It still needs a better exhaust and probablly intake. We did just put a B&G flash on it with raised rev limit and higher shift points so that should help some once the tranny goes back in. I not too sure about that KRC 220 cam either. It should go into the 12's though, it's not an 11's contender right now.

what do you expect one of your fully tuned 392's with a good intake, tranny, traction and exhaust to run?

It's all speculation right now but going from what I'm seeing on Brads truck and a few things we are seeing on the stroked 6.1 @ 426 CI that we've done, I'm pretty sure we can get solid in the mid 11's with everything around it to match the engine. We just saw a dyno run on a 426 we did, pick up a whole bunch of torque with some bigger valves in the already ported heads. The tune was awful though so it was leaving allot on the table. These new hemi engines can make some serious na power though.

The stock pistons are garbage and thats the main reason we built the bottom end. It doesn't make sense to put a bunch of money in the top end when you know the pistons can't take it at the power level you want to get. Brad likes to spray allot too and that was a factor.

MrDestinE- Please post up a thread where I said that the hemis have no potential. You know, we've always joked around with each other on the two forums, so why is it you all of a sudden get your vagina hurt over this.
You want to know about my setup? In 2004, I put in a cammed 6.0L with cleaned up heads, bolt ons, and a 3000 stall. The first weekend out it went 12.56. It's worn out and has seen well over 100 passes at the track over the past 3 years. I got a 12.41 best motor pass out of it before I started spraying it. It now takes a big shot of nitrous spraying in second gear to get it into the 11s. I have no idea on raceweight or D/A of the track, but the best thing I can tell you is to come to a truck gathering and see for yourself.
It gets terrible gas mileage and the past few years its eaten its share of trans. It has had no motor work done to it since 2004, so I'm satisfied with it. I can still drive it across country, race it, and drive it home, so I succeeded in what I wanted to do with it.

You know what, I'm going to stay out of any thread I see with hemi in the title, because it always ends up this way. You want to know what it takes to get my truck in the 11s, you can come find out yourself at one of these truck gatherings. I'm out of this ****....I'll come back when the thread reads....NA hemi goes 11s!!!
Be seeing ya soon.

All the hemi guys thought the big deal was first to the 12's. I've been hunting NA 11's all along, I just didn't want them all to think I was crazy.

Are you planning any suspension work for the future? Any traction aids at the moment? That's been my big problem over the years. It's so inconsistent from track to track traction wise.
